Troubleshooting Hardware Issues related to Dual Monitors, Docking Station, and Laptop
Hardware: Monitor(s) with Desktop or Monitor(s) with Docking Station and Laptop
Purpose: To assist with troubleshooting a monitor or monitors not working.
Steps:
- Verify all connections are plugged in and secure
- Run Windows Updates by following instructions in Microsoft link, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/get-the-latest-windows-update-7d20e88c-0568-483a-37bc-c3885390d212#:~:text=To%20check%20for%20updates%2C%20select,can%20choose%20to%20install%20them.&text=If%20you%20run%20into%20problems,at%20Troubleshoot%20problems%20updating%20Windows.

Run Driver updates. For Dell Devices search for Dell Command Update. For Lenovo Devices search for System Update. If the application is not installed you will be able to install it from the Company Portal. (If applications do not install, please submit an Incident Ticket)
- Restart
